From the day I helped at 6 to layout the string to make the foundation of our new home to this day, I am thankful my dad always expected me to assist with his building. I give thanks that I know how to shingle a roof, lay a course of block, dig a post hole, patch a membrane roof..well you get the idea. I was always my dad’s right hand girl when it came to helping out on the farm. My dad the architect, I never realized at the time that my life was any different from other children. Every trip, every time in a new building was a chanced for a lesson, as we discussed structure and aesthetics. What was wrong and what was right. I learned everyday growing up all about surveys and plumblines..Didn’t even realize until I planted my own garden with my husband that most people don’t use a level to plant a garden! I love homes and finding a good home is like treasure hunting with my clients. We find the best homes with great spaces. Homes that will fit my buyers for years to come. I truly love my job! My buyers and sellers are the best people…and like my dad who became friends for life with the people he built homes for.. that is the greatest gift of this job, changing lives and creating the basis for some of the best friendships while house hunting is the favorite part of my job as a realtor!
